i knew the final was going to be highly detailed and wanted to get as much sorted out during the first stages

A CD cover for a digital album. We wanted to show the singer in front of Greek ruins with mythical deities and monsters battling. This was a challenge and a delight to render because of all the detail. I referenced actual ruins and wanted to be sure I did them justice.
